Historical Walking Tour of Custume Barracks

The Westmeath Association of An Taisce organised a walking tour of the historic Custume Barracks in Athlone on 4th September 2010. We are very grateful to Lt. Colonel John Durnin, Officer in Command, Custume Barracks for his expert and informative presentation of the tour. The barracks contains buildings of 1700 and later, all of national importance.
